This annual event begins Thursday, September 15th and runs through Sunday, September 18th. Visit as many of the sixteen terrific yarn shops in the Greater Boston area over the four days of "The Crawl" for fun, prizes and special prices on yarns for "Crawlers".
How do you become a Crawler? Simply buy a $5 Passport at one of the shops. At each stop on your journey this passport will affirm your eligibility for all of the shops specials. Make sure to have your passport marked to show you were there!
Each participating shop has a Grand Prize on display. At the end of the Crawl, choose which shops grand prize you'd most like to win and turn your passport in to that shop. The winners will be chosen for each shop from the passports they collect. Maybe you will be a big winner this year!
Don't forget about the Broadmoor Shawlette designed specifically for this years Crawl. The pattern, by Cobblestones Designs is available for $4.50 on ravelry.com before the Crawl and $6.50 after the Crawl. Karen and I chose different colors of Mirasol's Nuna (one of my all-time favorites!), a bit heavier than the recommended yarn. We each used just two skeins of this delicious sport weight. As you can see below, Karens version is beautifully blocked (- mine, not so much!) What a difference it makes. Mine will be ready for the Crawl so stop by to see it!
