Greater Boston Yarn Crawl (GBYC) 2015 Updates:

Passports are available for $5 at the shop.

Visit the GBYC website at www.yarn-crawl.com and take a peek at the Shops, Specials & Extras tabs.  Our most enthusiastic, energetic & favorite yarn rep, Andra Asars (Berocco), will be here on from 12-2pm on Sunday, September 20th with her Knit & Garment extravaganza.  Andra will have samples, patterns, ideas…and a Berocco door prize.  Some of you may remember Andra from our Wednesday evening event last Fall…it was a huge success and people have been asking us to do it again.  So we are on Sunday, September 20th, 12-2pm.  It promises to be a lot of fun…save the date!

Many of us have been knitting the official GBYC 2015 shawl, "Freedom Trail".  The pattern is available on ravelry.com for $4 and requires 400 yards of a sock/fingering weight yarn. There is also a crochet version available.  For either version go to the pattern search tab on ravelry and type in "freedom trail".

Fall Classes & Workshops:

Our 5 week classes begin the week of Labor Day, September 7th.  Openings are still available for the Monday 6:30-8:30pm;
Tuesday 1-3pm; or Friday 10am-12pm classes.  Maybe we could squeeze one more into the Wednesday 9-11am class but Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm; Thursday 6:30-8:30pm and Wednesday 1-3pm are full.

Call or stop by to inquire or to reserve a space.

The workshop schedule will be available September 10th.

Don't Forget:

Winter Hours begin on Sunday, September 13th.  Join us on Sundays from 11am - 4pm.

Lots of new yarns are coming in each week.  Noro Kureopatora; Tahki Navajo, Tucson & Big Montana; Berroco Folio Luxe, Artisan & Ultra Alpaca Chunky Tonal; a new to Yarns in the Square local company, Dirty Water Dyeworks Lucia and lots of others!

We also just received a big needle order and a big Plymouth Encore order so we've got something for everyone.

Hope to see you soon!
